Hi folks,

in the very near future we will introduce here all partner organisations to become more familiar with the project.

First of all we would like to present, of course, our Coordinator Eskilstuna Energy & Environment:

Established in 1993 as a municipality owned company with responsibility for the distribution of electricity and the selling of electricity, district heating and cooling, water, sewage, waste handling and IT communications in the municipal district. Eskilstuna Energy & Environment has a total of 413 employees.

Having a board of directors that is politically appointed and a management team that has purposefully invested in a production and handling that is effective and in harmony with the environment.  Eskilstuna Energy & Environment has made large scale investments in technology development with the objective of obtaining cleaner and more effective processes and a better customer service.

Eskilstuna Energy and Environment conducts energy- and environmentally efficient business for current and future generations.

Interested in research and development within water and sewage, recirculation, energy production and distribution, broad band distribution but also corporate culture and development, business development and customer behavior.

Some research is performed within the company and some is performed in joint projects with consultants, institutes and universities.

Now you received a first impression - and others will follow ;-)

G'day everybody!

We'd like to announce our first Energy Efficiency Forum in Stoke-on-Trent on 6th November!

The time has now come to learn more about the project´s activities and to get insights into the first
project findings. -for example the successful analysis of the survey “Key fields of energy efficiency and urban development – Survey on energy-related activities within urban development”. Now the leader of Work Package 2 – Vienna University of Technology - can proudly come up with six city reports, a city comparison report and an expert report. Furthermore the results of the quantitative analysis about preconditions for becoming an energy-efficient smart city will be presented in the form of “smart city profiles”.

So please follow us on twitter on 6th November from 9:30am till 5:00pm!
